What we collect

• If you just use the map: nothing that identifies you. The postcode you type is looked up to find nearby schools; your shortlist is stored in your own browser.
• If you create an account: your email address, your shortlist, and whether you have Plus.
• If you buy Plus: payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, the last four digits of your card and your payment history, never your full card number.

Why we use it

To sign you in, save your shortlist, provide Plus and send emails you've asked for (sign-in links and receipts). The legal basis is our contract with you. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Supabase, which stores accounts (data held in [region, e.g. the UK/EU]).
• Stripe, which takes payments.
• Cloudflare, which hosts the website.
• postcodes.io and OpenFreeMap, which receive the postcode you search or the map area you view, but not who you are.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept until you delete your account. Payment records are kept for six years for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email address]. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We only use storage that's needed for the site to work: keeping you signed in and remembering your shortlist and last postcode. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
